And here you can see Lidka aged 6. My brother nearly split his sides with laughter when he saw this photo today... It was taken by a photographer in my zero class. It seems so long ago...

A web site

If the computer at my home is on, this means that probaly my brother has turned it on. I seldom do it unless I really have to... But on the occasions when it's me who sits in front of the screen I sometimes visit NPR site (National Public Radio), where I can find not only news, but also broadcasts on a number of topics such as health, books or culture. Some stories are really interesting and worth listening to and almost everybody can find something that will appeal to them. For example, now I'm listening to a broadcast about Frank Sinatra accompanied with his songs...So listening practice and nice music at the same time;)

Lidka and the computer

My first computer experience...I don't know whether this counts but I used to play with a broken keyboard at my mother's workplace when I was around 6;) And my "real" first encounter with computers took place during IT classes at primary school, during which we played "Żabka"(or something similar) in DOS. I didn't have a PC at that time ( I got it when I was 14) so playing this game was a thrilling experience;)
